Screening is completed on applicants for all positions (paid and volunteer) involving CEF® ministries and will be used to help CEF provide a safe and secure environment for children and adults alike.

Below are instructions, dependent on your age and prior experience volunteering with CEF of Washington.

NEW VOLUNTEERS (18 & OVER)

• Read our Child Protection Policy

• Complete our Online Background Screening Form

• Your local CEF office will contact you for an interview and ID confirmation.

NEW VOLUNTEERS (17 and UNDER)

• Read Volunteer Application and Screening Instructions​​​

YEARLY REQUIREMENTS

Note: If you have been inactive for one full calendar year, you are considered a new volunteer and you should complete the steps in that section.
